I'm confused and little curious about the same fact that still when I've completed 22 years of my life, I'm yet to discover what I want to do as in my future or in better terms, what would be my career!
But the matter of the fact is that I'm happy at my present state of mind when I see other people opting their career which they pick just to make money or to have great experience in the field where they lack passion and might not fit into!
I want to deliver this message to youngsters that don't just have a career or academic goal in order to do it or because people around you are doing it! Measure your abilities and most important thing, think of your passion and interest that you can put into your work because in a long run you have to love the thing that you do. Don't mix everything up, sacrificing personal life for sake of getting a better tomorrow is the most common thing people do now a days but there's no point of that because you may get success but eventually you will lose the spark n excitement that our life needs. Getting a promotion when your mind is all set at your girlfriend's heavy doses that she gave you last day for not giving her enough time is simply an unbalance combination or listening to the english songs just to impress your colleagues even when your mind goes back to 90's hindi songs is kind of destabilization.
Life as I put it is like the snake & ladder game, you go on top through ladders, snake bites you and brings you down and you don't know when its gonna happen so play it well until your snake comes to you, same is with life, you work harder and harder till the day you realize that we're all going to be the same compost heap, than what's the point of running a rat race?
Don't take life too seriously, I never do, those who know me will nod their heads on this. Its ok to bunk few classes, scoring low in tests, falling in love n crying afterwards.. lol, flirt a bit, skip some important work, quarrel with your friends, gatecrash at parties, drink a bit, smoke a little...get into a fight and most of the things are good if done for one time, don't try to jump off from a cliff or get bitten by a snake (were you even thinking of that??? :O) in short, do everything that your conscious allows you to do because we are not here forever and we're not going to come again to just to make those mistakes which we've forgotten in order to be the perfect little creatures.
After all we are humans not God.
